Charlie's aware of how cruel this world can be and is determined to be a light in this ever growing darkness and speak the truth for as long as she can.

Filming April 20-21, 28th Guelph - Pickering
She is one of Charlie's closest friends, but they couldn't be more different from each other. They have banged heads in the past over important things, but it's hard to let go of someone you've known since childhood. Jewels has already taken her Global currency- ID chip and is an upstanding citizen in her community from her perspective. But will their friendship survive the division and what's coming next...

Frank (Male 50+) Martha's Husband
Filming April 22nd, 29th Oshawa
Frank and his wife Martha own the meat store Charlie shops at regularly. They would even call each other friends. New laws being implemented are making things difficult, he can no longer help his community like he once did. The pressure is on and everyone is being watched under a microscope.

Filming April 29th Oshawa
Martha and her husband Frank own the meat store Charlie frequents. They, like everyone else, have been put into very tough positions; do what you're told--not do what you know is Right. However, this beautiful soul can't help but do what is right, despite the consequences.

This sweet boy has a heart of pure gold and loves like Jesus-fearlessly. Thankfully he is too young to officially become a citizen, so he tries to use that to his advantage when he sees someone in need. Before churches were shut down he would attend with a relative and hasn't lost his childlike faith, despite the crumbling world around him.

Loving mother to her children, she felt pressured by everyone, her husband in particular, to take the chip. She has deep reservations about it all and worries for her children's futures. There are severe penalties for helping non citizens, she wants to protect her son, not report his kindness.

He has been given strict orders from not only his workplace but from the new form of government, that anyone who is not a Global Citizen with the embedded chip must be denied all rights and public access. Reporting "zealots" and the enemy is also encouraged and rewarded.

An underground, outspoken, now law breaking talk show host, has been preaching for years of the coming DOOM! Some called him a conspiracy theorist, others a loud mouth. However, he never gave up and is determined now more than ever that the message needs to be shared and hope must not be lost.

One of Charlie's 12 friends, he has already received the chip. He is optimistic about the direction the world is going in and feels it's worth celebrating. Kind and friendly smile draws others into the excitement of change.

Aggressively shoving pamphlets in peoples hands and faces, on street corners and busy areas. Some praise the wonders of the chip and the new global leader. Others try to warn of the evil it brings.

These people hate the outsiders, the ones unwilling to conform. When they aren't violent or catching the "zealots" for reward, words are thrown at their targets for fun. Breading new division, hate speech and a new ugly the world doesn't see coming.

It sucks having to turn on your neighbour, but survival is now the name of the game. If it isn't hidden, it isn't safe. These thieves help themselves to the food they can find in Charlie's tent before being run off.

This character is only teased in the short film but holds a bigger presence in the Full feature. The Grand Duchess sees herself as a 'god' and works closely with the new Global Leader in taking over the world. Her venomous thirst for power is matched by her ability to feel no remorse.

Nikki (Female, Teen)
Filming April 27th Pickering
This character is only teased in the short film but holds a bigger presence in the Full feature. Nikki is a teen athlete (runner) who feels misunderstood by everyone except some older women from her church. With her nearly photographic memory holding onto the word of the Lord was easier for her.
